Sunday Service - Online and In Person & Forum Recordings

Watch our 11am Eucharist online at this link or come to the church in person to join our worship together. We’ll worship in person on Sunday Mornings at 8:30am, and 11am.

Church of the Heavenly Rest is a spiritual home for people all over the world. We are seekers, artists, and friends. Wherever you are, however you are, we’re so glad you’re here.

You can also tune into our 9:30am Forums at this link - and if you’ve missed a forum, you can always watch past content on this page of our website

Teen Service Project - Grassroots Grocery

The last Wednesday of every month we invite teens to join us as we launch our monthly meal program! We will prepare, cook, and package meals to donate to Grassroots Grocery’s community fridge on 92nd and 1st Avenue. We will also share a community meal! This event is for teens, (7th grade and up) and adults-- we hope you can join us! We will meet at 5:45 in the chapel for our Sung Evening Prayer and then go straight into prepping meals in Darlington Hall.

Email Vi Lynk with any questions.

Pathways - Curated by Sara Evans

A Group Exhibition at the Church of the Heavenly Rest Undercroft Gallery

On view: February 20 – April 14, 2024

Hours: Monday - Sunday, 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Sara Evans, writer, and Heavenly Rest parishioner brings a group exhibition to the CHR Undercroft Gallery based on the theme of “Pathways:” Why artists work in their chosen mediums. This exhibition of selected artists highlights works from memorable conversations Sara has had with many of them in their studios. The "Pathways” artists, Sara notes, are an exceptional group. "We share an intricate web of connection. There are friends and friends of friends, daughters of friends, friends of daughters, mothers of daughters' friends. Some are relatives; some are partners. I am grateful to all of them. Every encounter has been an adventure".

Selected Artists include Bennett Sykes Blackburn, Louise Blackburn, Jeremy Garretson, Erin Gillett, Lisa Gillett, Leslie Hagg, Juliana Lazzaro, Yolene Legrand, Gerry McElroy, Tom McElroy, Ari Mintz, Paula Nadelstern, Wendy Prellwitz, Colleen Rudolf, Adam Straus, Laura Waterbury.
