Grace to Go Tasting
Join the Outreach team as we taste and pack our newest Grace-to-Go recipe: jambalaya! The Grace-to-Go program is part of our outreach focus on nourishment of body, mind, and soul. Grace-to-Go provides ready-to-cook meals for people in East Harlem (like busy working moms) who need food episodically. We prepared 1,000 meals last fall and we’ll pack 1,000 more together this spring.

Tuesday, May 16 at 6pm: Special tasting and packing preparation.

Canterbury Choral Society: Mendelssohn’s “Elijah” @ Church of the Heavenly Rest
May 21 @ 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

Canterbury Choral Society’s final performance of the season brings back a favorite from their repertoire. In this quintessential work of storytelling, Mendelssohn takes the craft of Bach’s choral writing and fuses it to Romantic orchestral colors and harmonies.

Need a Prayer

PSALM 51
Open my lips, O Lord,
and my mouth shall proclaim your praise.

Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew a right spirit within me.

Cast me not away from your presence
and take not your holy Spirit from me.

Give me the joy of your saving help again
and sustain me with your bountiful Spirit.

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit:
as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen.
