Prepare the Way: an Advent Quiet Day with Ruth Cunningham & Tuesday Rupp
Join internationally renowned musician Ruth Cunningham (founding member of the Anonymous 4) and the Rev. Tuesday Rupp for a day of opening our hearts to receive Christ through music, poetry, reflections, and meditations. Saturday, December 9th from 10am-3pm at House of the Redeemer. Lunch provided. Announcing Women’s Weekly Bible Study!
Announcing our first Weekly Women’s Bible Study with accomplished teacher and leader Mary Anne Hatch. This 45-minute call-in group will connect on Thursday mornings via Zoom or phone at 7:30am to break open John’s Gospel, and discover where God’s Word is in their lives. This fall we will focus on the theme of Moral Compass. In conversation with thought leaders from across disciplines we will ask “how do we act faithfully in a complex world?” Be sure to mark your calendars for the events coming up as a part of this series!

Want to start the new year on the right foot? Come to Bible Study! Four great options to choose from: Tuesday Morning Men’s Bible Study, lay led, 7:30 am Wednesday Night Feminist Bible Study and Supper with Tuesday Rupp, 7:00 pm after Celtic Eucharist beginning on February 1st Monthly Men’s Bible Study in Midtown with Matt Heyd, the second Wednesday of every month, 8:30 am, beginning on February 8th Friday Morning Bible Study with Matt Heyd, 9:45 am every week in the Tree Room (undercroft)

Need a Prayer

PSALM 51
Open my lips, O Lord,
and my mouth shall proclaim your praise.

Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew a right spirit within me.

Cast me not away from your presence
and take not your holy Spirit from me.

Give me the joy of your saving help again
and sustain me with your bountiful Spirit.

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit:
as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen.
