Welcome to Our Congregation!

What to expect at Heavenly Rest

Heavenly Rest is a 7-day-a-week Church: online, outdoors, and in-person!

All are welcome here – to worship, to wonder, to serve, and to rest in God’s presence.

Our hope is that you will experience God’s love and grace here in many different ways: through the liturgy and music, by the warm welcome of our congregation, and through the beauty of our historic building and its sacred spaces as we begin to reopen.

When you join us online, you’ll be welcomed by friendly faces of our clergy and our congregation whose joy we share as people who know they are loved, cared for and enough.

On Sunday morning, you can join us on Zoom or on Facebook for a weekly topical forum, often with renowned guests, followed by a virtual service with participation from our staff and congregation in creative and joyful ways. We’re welcoming attendees to our 11am Sunday Eucharist, and we will continue to stream our services on our website so we can worship in community. For safety reasons, many of our online programs on Sundays are in a “livestream” or “webinar” format, we hope to meet you personally at other online programming.

We know these are difficult times, and we recognize that everyone needs something different in this moment. We hope to offer something for everyone, whether it’s a brief distraction, a source of joy, a place to find peace and silence, or a place to simply be reminded you are not alone. At Heavenly Rest, we’re with you.
